Fitness Reality 2866 X-Class Multi Function Power Tower Review

Fitness Reality 2866 X-Class Multi Function Power Tower

Fitness Reality X Class 2866 is a brand new release, multi-functional and durable high-intensity power tower with an ergonomic design for a total body workout at home. You will be working your abs, legs, back, biceps, triceps, chest and shoulders with different hand positions.

It is a very durable product with a heavy duty steel tube frame and a 400 lb. total weight capacity. Powder coating is used on the steel frame to make it more durable and resistant to scratches and marks. The frame construction is angled at 83 degrees to stabilize different movements and exercises. And your back can rest on the backrest so there are not lateral movements.

The height roller bars can be adjusted to 7 different mounting positions at five different angles. There are more than 30 exercises you can do on this great solid unit, such as assisted dips, chin-ups, leg raises, vertical knee raises, sit-ups, push-ups, incline and decline pushups, adjustable height rows, assisted single leg squats, flutter kicks, progressive pull-ups and more. It even includes a dip station with a stability beam that can be adjusted to three positions and a chin-up and pull-up station.

And you will feel comfortable working out on it for lengthy periods of time with the comfortable 3” thick curved backrest, the 2.25″ thick angled forearm cushions to support your elbows and forearms, the large molded dip bars for more comfy grip and adjustable thick foam rollers.

The dip bars are 26 inches from each other so you have lots of room to exercise in. There is a step support on the frame to let you step up easily to do your upper and lower abdominal and other exercises- leg raises, vertical knee raises and dips. The multiple grip pull-up bars are conveniently located at the rear and you can do a work on your back, shoulders, chest, biceps and triceps with different exercises like regular, hammer, wide-grip, close-grip, hammer pull-ups.

Black Fitness Reality 2866 has a modern design, weighs 150  pounds and 63.4 x 49 x 83 inches- is not really small or lightweight but certainly very robust. You can easily mount the power tower to the ground with the ready-to-mount bolt holes. It is actually rebranded from- the replacement model of the Ironman Triathlon 6880 Power Tower we reviewed back in January. This model is also covered by a limited lifetime warranty for home use, giving you a peace of mind. Both Ironman and Fitness Reality brands belong to Paradigm Health that is well-known for creating high quality- very sturdy, functional and premium looking and feeling home gym equipment. The higher price level is probably the only negative we can point out but no doubt you’re getting what you pay for.
